Oak Harbor edges Lakota, 37-36

Oak Harbor got a much-needed win, holding off Lakota, 37-36, in non-conference action.

Trailing, 26-24, the Rockets scored seven straight point and finished the game on a 13-10 run while getting baskets from Aric McAtee, Alex Gezo, Raymon Behlmer and Tate Smith.

It was a defensive struggle that saw just one team score double figures in a quarter until the fourth. Oak Harbor led, 6-5, after the first quarter, 17-14, at halftime and 23-20 heading in the third.

Rockets win McDonald's Holiday Tournament

At this time last season, the Oak Harbor Rockets had a losing record.

Now they're 10-0 following a 55-39 victory over Lima Bath in the McDonald's Holiday Tournament.

The win signifies just how well Oak Harbor is playing this season, and now it can add to its undefeated record a championship in one of Ohio's most prestigious tournaments.
