Oak Harbor defeated by Edison

Oak Harbor Volleyball lost to Edison on Sept. 1: 20-15, 13-25, 17-25. 

Abby Dornbusch had 16 assists, Athena Eli had 9 digs and Peyton Bloomer with 7 digs.   Peyton Bloomer had 13 kills and Peyton Bloomer and Logan Harris with 3 blocks apiece.


Support Kyan Menchaca’s fight against Hodgkins Lymphoma

On Sunday, Sept. 13, the Oak Harbor American Legion Post 114 is hosting a chicken dinner to benefit Kyan Menchaca’s fight against Hodgkins Lymphoma. All proceeds go towards Kyan’s medical bills.
The dinner starts at 11 a.m. and goes until it is sold out. Dine in and carryout are available and a dinner is $9.

Early mistakes by the Rockets led to the Ottawa-Glandorph Titans seizing control of field position early in the game. It was an obstacle the Rockets were unable to overcome. Oak Harbor fumbled on the first play from scrimmage putting its back against the wall right from the start. The Rocket defense, however rose to the occasion and kept the Titan offense out of the end zone.
