Rockets rally to defeat Margaretta, 16-8

Down eight points in the second quarter in its final game of the season, it would've been easy for Oak Harbor to fold and end the season with a loss.

Instead, the Rockets rallied to defeat Margaretta, 16-8, to finish the season with a 3-7 record and a 2-4 mark in the Sandusky Bay Conference.

Trailing 8-0, Oak Harbor quarterback Andre Ramsey found Jonathan Frederick for a touchdown, and the two-point conversion tied the score heading into the half.

The Rockets took the lead for good when Frederick scored just over a minute into the third quarter. The ensuing two-point conversion made it 16-8, and Oak Harbor never looked back.

The Polar Bears' lone touchdown came on a 10-yard run by Tyler Henderson with 6:58 to play in the first half.

Margaretta, which failed to win a game in the conference, finishes the season with a 4-6 record and a 0-6 mark in the SBC.

BCS Joint Committee to explore options
