Port Clinton High School Spring Sports Awards Program

Port Clinton High School held their annual Spring Sports Awards Program on Tuesday, May 27.  Student athletes, parents and coaches gathered in the PCHS Performing Arts Center to recognize to student athletes that earned All-SBC or All-District Honors and also SBC All-Academic Awards. Afterward, each team had individual breakout sessions or a separate program to present the following special awards.

PC boys defeat Oak Harbor

Port Clinton Boys tennis team played Oak Harbor this week in an SBC match at home.  The Redskins won 4-1. This moved PC to 5-11 (4-7).

Noah Cross and Jeff Griffin followed up their district qualifying weekend with easy wins at one and two singles.  Simon Shultz debuted at three singles and won handily.  Ellis Adolph and Cameron King could not keep their early momentum going, losing in a tough three set match.  Tristan Auxter and Dean Colston powered through a comeback from Ben David and Ryan Johnson in the middle of the first set to take the win at second doubles.
