RVI art studio creates banners for Oak Harbor

Oak Harbor Power employee Dan Wendt hung a banner created by the artists at Riverview Industries Imagine Art studio Monday morning on Ohio 19 just south of Ohio 163 in Oak Harbor. RvI provides employment and other services to adults who have developmental disabilities. Four banners created by Imagine Art artists can be seen through September. They can also be seen on Ohio 163 near the intersection with Ohio 105, near Adolphus Kraemer Park, and on Locust Street.

Oak Harbor Independence Day celebration July 3

The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join our community in celebrating our independence on Thursday, July 3, along the Portage River in downtown Oak Harbor. Gates open at 5 p.m. and there will be food, entertainment, giant inflatables, the royal duck race, 50/50 drawings and a beer tent. The night would not be complete without the sky being illuminated with the most spectacular fireworks display around!

B-C-S Schools “Coffee Connections” to feature new OHHS principal

Treasurer Tim Coffman and Superintendent Guy Parmigian introduced "Coffee Connections" to the citizens of Benton-Carroll-Salem School District as a new and informal opportunity for citizens to introduce themselves, chat, ask questions, and learn more about the B-C-S school system and where we are heading. There is no cost to attend, and no reservations are necessary. Bring yourself (and friend/s if you would like), get your favorite beverage, and pull up a chair for some good conversation with the leaders of B-C-S.
