Otterbein North Shore hosts open air concerts

The public is invited to attend an open air concerts on the lawn of Otterbein North Shore Senior Lifestyle Community at 9400 North Shore Boulevard on Saturday, June 28 from 4-5:30 p.m. and June 30 beginning at 7 p.m. Atendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to the event. On June 28 enjoy the music of “Tim and Michelle”.  These musician-entertainers from the Cleveland have been making music at special events, restaurants, parties and festivals in Northern Ohio and at the Lake Erie Islands for many years.  With their vocals, guitar and electric violin music, they will be a delight!

On June 30 at 7 p.m. enjoy the music of The Port Clinton Community Band.  Under the leadership of Rod Miller, this talented group of musicians from the North Shore area have been making music together for many years.  For more information, call Jo Ann or Kirsten at 419-798-8250.

Otterbein Awards honor those who give back

Otterbein Homes President and CEO, Jill Hreben, along with Otterbein North Shore Executive Tom Keith, recently bestowed special recognition to individuals and companies who have gone above and beyond to support the mission of the senior community located in Danbury Township near Lakeside.

Resident Marilyn Infield graciously received the Philanthropist of the Year award for thoughtful and generous gifts throughout 2013.  Specifically, in memory of her husband, Dean, Marilyn donated the funds to purchase a new bus for ONS community use.
