Kiwanis Boys Basketball Program starts Nov. 16

The Port Clinton Kiwanis Club is once again sponsoring the 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Boys Basketball Teams to provide the opportunity for the boys to gain experience, learn the game and have fun playing basketball. The program starts Saturday, Nov. 16, at noon in the PCHS Gymnasium with a basketball clinic day. Participants will be assigned to teams and learn about the practice schedule that first day. Games are played at Port Clinton High School on Saturdays through January.

The registration fee is $20, which includes a team shirt. The fee can be waived since the goal of Kiwanis Basketball is to involve as many players as possible. Registration forms are available at the elementary schools or on Saturday before the clinic. Make checks payable to Port Clinton Kiwanis.

Questions about the Kiwanis Basketball program can be directed to Coach Troy Diels at 419-734-4448 or Dr. David George at 419-797-6240.
