Port Clinton girls tennis loses to Clyde

The Lady Redskins tennis team lost 4-1 against Clyde on Thursday afternoon.  This brings their record to 8-3 overall, 3-2 in SBC.

Tiffany Colston & Morgan McGlothlin (PC) def. Brooke Smith & Clara Sewell (C) 4-6, 6-4, 6-1
Desiree Boonen & Emi Bowers (C) def. Molly Haberman & Libby Showalter (PC) 6-3, 7-5

“Clyde is an excellent team and really, they were just better than us tonight.  Tiffany and Morgan fought hard to come back in the 2nd set.  They were off in the first set but were able to be patient and consistent, which got them the win,” said coach Lindsay Smith. 

PC JVs also lost, 4-2.  Both wins were by Madi Baxter and Emma Young.
