PC Girls Bowl Over Fostoria, Lakota; Boys Split

Port Clinton’s Varsity Girls Bowlers bowled over both Fostoria and Lakota in a tri match Saturday at Harbor Lanes to begin the season 2-0.
The Lady Redskins rolled games of 749-677 and added 670 in Baker to total 2096. Lakota rolled 1943 and Fostoria 1513.

Alysia Zoeller led the ‘Skins with games of 172-180 for 352. Eryn Binder added 149-149 for 298.
Jenny Knallay led Lakota with 125-169 and Alexandria Hersch led Fostoria with 115-158.
Port Clinton’s Varsity Boys started with a 990 game but fell to 876 the 2nd game and 860 in Baker for a 2726 total, losing to Fostoria by 1 pin.
Fostoria totaled 2727 and Lakota 2096.
Sean Black led the ‘Skins with games of 231-238 for 469, Caleb Conrad added 214-187 for 401.
Anthony Thomas led Fostoria with 214-207 and Edward Ardner 200-214 for 414. Aaron Reasor led Lakota with 233-164 for 397.
“Both the Girls and Boys had very good starts” said PC Coach Bob Black, “but spare shooting was not very good, missing single pins cost both teams. we need to improve quickly with 2 Conference matches this week.”
